This is a great exercise to follow up on any mobilization for the extension you might be doing. Why? Because all knees should have some amount of hyperextension AND you need to be able to get there actively…unless you want to keep stressing the underside of your kneecap and patellar tendon for no reason. This is also phenomenal for getting rid of the sensitivity in your knee after a WOD or lifting session when performed with high reps. So next time your knee is bothering you, grab a band and bang out 3 sets of 30-50 reps
